Sales Order Matrix Logic and Setup
OpenPro has built in Matrix Processing used for the garment industry and others products that have options.
The following part of the system is the different layers of pricing structure. The pricing is based upon the below priority and logic.
- At order entry overrides setup based upon rules and others.
- Customer contract pricing – where a customer gets a specific price for an item created under Sales Order, Maintenance, customer contract pricing.
- IC item price codes setup and item format based upon Customer type, class and or quantity pricing based upon inventory control price codes.
- Customer discounts setup in the AR customer table

Matrix Setup
Login to the OpenPro System.
Business Rules, Registration needs to be setup to turn on the Distribution Matrix.
Distribution Matrix (refer the Dis Matrix field).
Inventory Items Category need to be created using the MAXTIX process
Descriptors need to be add, these are used to break down the MATRIX into the different size, color and styles.
You can create item Descriptors, this generates all the options for the MATRIX processing.
1st create the item, then expand the item to all the different color and sizes using the DUPLICATE button. Then after the items are created, you can view the MATRIX.
Inventory Items need to use the duplicate button.
- Click on the MATRIX switch and click on the MATRIX button.
- This will expand to all the possibilities.
Click off the combinations of colors and sizes required for this item. When completed hit SUBMIT button.
Then the different combinations are completed.
New when reviewing inventory you can see all the different color and sizes available.
E-commerce shopping cart with MATRIX
When you look at the specials or the details parts list, there is only one part that shows up.
When you drill down the details of an item or Add and items, the system will show you the options.

They can select all the options available and add it to the cart.
Order Entry and Purchase order Processing
And the new matrix button has been created. With features required, in order entry, inventory control and purchase order processing.
Also changes for the item category drill down on ecommerce cart as well as the back end order entry has been created. Matrix order processing changes to the OpenPro system.
During order entry, new Matrix button has been added.
So you can put in the model information and it will display all the different combinations of sizes, etc.
Order Entry Processing
During order entry you can now see all the sub categories during drill down. Same change has been made to the ecommerce cart as well. Import CSV or Excel files has been added for importing large orders.
Mass load Inventory transactions
You can mass load and process transaction via an excel sheet.
Purchase Order Processing and MATRIX
Purchase order processing has also added the Matrix button.
