How to update OpenPro ERP Software from an older version to the latest version. We have 3 easy steps for the updating process.

1. Go to the website given the new update to download the latest updates of OpenPro.

• Download the Update existing System file
• Extract that to your local machine
• Find where it is downloaded and wait for step 3.

2. Update the SQL database with update commands.

These commands are located in the download under the UPDATES folder. File called SQL_UPDATES.TXT

• Review the SQL updates; the latest updates are located on the bottom of the file.
• Find out what your system left out.
• Highlight, cut and paste the SQL database.
• Login to the database using the OpenPro MySQL admin program.

3. Then overlay the programs with the latest programs by using winscp or whatever local program you use to connect to the server. Or if you are on the server just extract the zip file and overlay the OpenPro root folder.

• To transfer files, the OpenPro programs are located in the Includes folder.
• After all the files are copied, you can log in and test the system changes.

Log into the system and review the new updates.
