The guide contains getting started information as well as a more detailed overview of the basic business flow. We hope you will find the scenarios in the overview to be useful. We have loaded the same set of data used to populate the overview screen shots into the database you will be accessing during your evaluation period.

OpenPro TimeCard Management Software (TMS)
OPEN-PRO Timecard module supports a variety of special functions: regular time and overtime calculation, management reporting, supervisor updating, and missing time reports. It is a complete web based timecard module.
Gather employee timesheets via hardware, software, or remote devices. Choose just one or as many different collection methods as you need to accommodate your organization's requirements.

Hardware time clock options give employees the familiarity of a wall-mounted time clock, with all the benefits of the TimeForce software. Our clocks offer one or a combination of the following features:

There are about 40 different options on this product.
Considering the size of the TimeCard, there may be a need for a wireless network and maybe some repeaters.
If your Timecard is already set up for wireless, nothing extra is required.
With the TAS Terminal with Finger Biometric reader & EM Proximity Reader, you can use the thumb or finger to clock in and out of the system.
Software Time Collection
Software options allow employees to clock in using their browser from a desktop or laptop computer.

Basic Process Flow
This section is a continuation of Application Demonstration Guides I and II and is designed to introduce you to the basic process flow through the Openpro TimeCard Management Standard Solution. We have assembled a series of related screenshots to illustrate a logical sequence of business scenarios. We hope you will find the scenarios to be useful. Feel free to test them out yourself. Your evaluation database comes pre-loaded with the same sample data used to generate the screen shots in this section.
The basic flow starts with your timecard entry. They can come from several different sources, including: clock in and out, bar code scanner, etc.

The utility software is provided to populate the TimeCard management system database and to export from it. The frequency of transfer is also established as an option. Data transfer runs as a background operation and does not require user intervention.
This manual will go through how to set up timecard management, collecting the time and reporting the time data to payroll.
The timecard system will interface with the following systems:
- Payroll
- Job costing
- Manufacturing work flows
- Time clock in and out
To begin with the basic timecard entry, have the employee login to OpenPro and then clock in and out by clicking on the button clock in/out.
There are several ways to capture time within our system:
- Login to OpenPro
- Use wall clocks with Windows CE, or dumb terminals and bar code readers
- During the manufacturing process with portable terminals or entry screen
- During the WSO processing and job costing activity process
First, LOGIN to OpenPro. As the employee clocks in and out the screen shows their hours for the week.
These hours are then totaled and show up on the timecard report.
There are several ways to capture time within our system: use wall clocks with OpenPro, have clocking turned on with Windows, Linux, Windows CE, or dumb terminals and bar code readers.
To continue, open the browser, set up the default location to be your OpenPro server information, but add the following on the end:

For the work order and/or the job costing process, you can set up a stand alone machine asking for work order information.
To continue open the browser, set up the default location to be your OpenPro server information, but remember to put the following on the end:

The TAS Terminal with Finger Biometric reader & EM Proximity Reader gives you the ability to clock in and out of the system with your finger. Go to the control panel and enable the bar code scanner for this to work properly.
Updates And Changes To Time
To maintain or change the hours for each employee, you can select the employee by the employee number and edit each record:
When you make a change here it logs all changes into the system.
The time can also be assigned to the job cost system.
You can select ACTIVITY to assign time to overtime, sick leave, holiday, double time, etc.
Reports And Changes To Time
Reporting time for each employee, department or company.
This shows the details for the date range requested.
When there is an * in the report, this means that there was an over ride done to change this employee’s time.
Exports of this are automatically sent to the OpenPro Payroll system, and can be exported to ADP and Paychex formats by clicking on the export process.
This report has a total for the period.
