The [[http://wiki.openpro.com/doku.php?id=products:distribution:inventory-control:inventory-control|Inventory Class]] Screen allows you to set-up different classifications groups for your inventory based on unique characteristics.

You can set-up a new inventory class by clicking **Add New IC**

Class ID: This is a unique class identification number

Description: This is the class name

Default: Describes whether this is a default class or not

Inventory unit: This is the unit of measure for the inventory group

Price: This is the class prices

COGS Acct: This is the cost of goods account number
