The [[http://wiki.openpro.com/doku.php?id=products:distribution:inventory-control:inventory-control|Inventory Close]] menu allows you to close the inventory account at the end of month to allow you to undertake necessary reconciliations and recalculations if necessary.

Year: This is the year you want to close the inventory	

Period: This is the period for which you want to close the inventory	

Update From IC History Transactions: Allows you to select if you need to recalculate based on inventory transactions
	
Show Detail updates: You can check if to view detailed closure information
	
Recalculate ME Qty and Cost using End Balance	

Update ME Qty and Cost From Inventory Balances	

Show Zero Items: Allows you to choose if items with zero balances can be included in the closure report
