Authorize.net Setup

This facility is used in E-commerce, Point of Sale and Sales Order processing.

This will get you started on processing credit card while entering in transaction into OpenPro ERP Software.

Setup

In rules setup, business rules all the merchant id, password and transaction key need to be configured and setup. This information is given to you by your authorize.net agent. The secured transaction switch should be turned on, the transaction type should be REAL transactions.

In the Business rules now there are separate Ecommerce codes from the Business back office. This is also used during the credit card processing.

As of 8/2006 Authorize.net does not require all three fields, so you can put the TRANSACTION KEY INTO BOTH Password and the TRANSACTION Key fields.

Merchant ID is also required.

Setup of authorize.net account to work with OpenPro ERP Software, login to your account, click on the Direct Response link.

Setup to a delimited response, select YES, the default separator is: ,(comma)

The transactions are being processed and show the following:

Depending on how tight you make the authorize.net transaction verification, it will not allow transactions to process.

If you get the following:

You can right click and see the transaction details and any errors in communications.

Then when the invoicing is complete you can login to authorize.net and see the transactions details

In Authorize.net the openpro invoice number, who and when the transaction was processed and the amounts.

Business rules setup for credit card options.

This option for Swipe will add a field in the credit card processing where you can use a magnetic card.
Swipe the card and it will fill in the fields.

Swipe new card on the top, will then fill in the details below.

During the invoice process, the card will generate a sales transaction.
