Label Printing Logic and Setup

OpenPro has built-in barcode printing of labels but because there are hundreds of printers, setup needs to be done for each printer.

This manual will show you how to set up and print labels on a laser sheet, or on label printer like the Dymo Label writer Turbo. If the inventory control item maintenance, you can print on the Label button, then a bar-coded label page will display.

It will ask how many copies of this label do you want. If you have a label printer 1 is normal, but if you have something like a laser printer, you may need 8 copies to fit a page.

The label shows up how you want to print it.

For a Dymo label writer printer, go to File print preview.

click on the Options button next to print.

  1. Setup the page setup for the number of labels to print 1
  2. Orientation to LANDSCAPE
  3. Margins to left, right .23 and Top and Bottom to .2

This is the advance information page, needs to be set up for Graphics, and the correct paper size.

Then when you print this label it comes out great.

For a laser printer, you want to put 8 copies or more of this label.
Then you get a full page of bar coded labels.
